Out of Hours
The normal Out of Hours service will be available during surgery closure - NHS 111 for advice 24 hours a day.
Call NHS 111 before going to A&E as you may be offered an emergency appointment in the community and therefore be seen faster.
We are pleased to welcome the following Doctors to our practice:

We also have a Nurse Practitioner at the practice who can prescribe medication and can deal with the following:
- Coughs/Flu like symptoms
- Urine Infections/chest infections
- D & V
- Emergency contraception
- Earache/Sore throats/Sinusitis/Hay fever
- Minor cuts and bruises
- Skin rashes
The Friends and Family Test
The Friends and Family Test is a National Program initiated in order to gain patient feedback for the service you receive at Oakridge Park Medical Centre.
The main aims of the FFT are;
To get feedback from patients and service users in a simple & straight forward format which we can then use to analyse the level of care and service provided by the Practice.
To identify the areas of success and where improvements can be made.

IF YOU HAVE MEDICATION THAT IS NOT ON REPEAT, YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE A FORM IN THE SURGERY AND REQUEST IT.
IF YOU CAN NOT ORDER YOUR MEDICATION ONLINE - YOU WILL NEED TO VISIT THE SURGERY.
IF YOU REQUIRE THE SURGERY TO CONTACT YOU, YOU WILL NEED TO CALL 01908 221180 AS WE CANNOT ALWAYS CONTACT YOU DUE TO DEMANDS ON THE SERVICE.

In line with the NHS zero tolerance guidelines on abuse of patients and staff; this Practice will not tolerate any incidents of violence, aggression and/or rudeness by ANY patient to the Practice Staff and/or other patients, whether this be physical or verbal abuse.
In the event of a patient being rude to Practice Staff or to other patient within the Surgery, or in the event of a patient using threatening and/or abusive language in the surgery or on the telephone, the Practice Manager will be informed and the individual involved will be dealt with accordingly.
A letter will be dispatched to the patient informing them their behaviour is unacceptable and if there is another incident they will be removed from the doctor’s list forthwith. If patients continue to be abusive within the Practice premises, they will be informed that the Police will be notified and they will be escorted from the premises.

Test Results are now available between 12.30pm-1.30pm Monday-Friday (please note we can only give results to the patient concerned).
