Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow 72 hours when asking for a prescription to be sent to a Chemist.

PATIENT'S FAILING TO ATTEND FOR APPOINTMENTS

IN JULY A TOTAL OF 401 PATIENTS DID NOT ATTEND APPOINTMENTS THEY HAD BOOKED.

3  failed to attend on three occasions

45  twice

353 on one occasion

This equals the Practice employing a GP for over a week without appointments.

A patient  who fail to keep appointments has a huge impact on another person  with medical conditions who need to see a GP.

The Practice will now review all patient's who fail to attend. Anyone who fails to attend on more than three occasions will be reviewed and removed from the Practice list.

The Practice will run a report each month and attendances will be looked at over a 12 month period.

Out of Hours

The normal Out of Hours service will be available during surgery closure - NHS 111 for advice 24 hours a day.

Call NHS 111 before going to A&E as you may be offered an emergency appointment in the community and therefore be seen faster.

  • To identify the areas of success and where improvements can be made.

It is important to us at Oakridge Park Medical Centre that we know what you think of the surgery and where improvements can be made, please take a few moments to complete to complete the survey located under the 'have your say' heading. Thank you.
